Through a mix of education, hands-on activities, and field trips, our young rockhounds explore the world of rocks and minerals around them. Help instill a fascination for geology in a Junior Rockhound!

Our Annual Show is our primary source of operating capital. By helping to defray the cost of hosting the show, you are helping us continue our primary goal of expanding education in the Earth Sciences.

Can you help us with funding to expand the club to a permanent location to hold meetings, teach classes, house our workshop with equipment and materials, and have a museum of works and specimens?

You can carry on the legacy of one rockhound to another by donating in memory of a loved one. Funds donated to this account are designated for the Education Fund.

All money in the Scholarship fund is kept in FDIC-insured holdings, and the interest is used to provide scholarships to Graduate Students in the Earth Sciences at universities around the Country.

Currently, the Foundation awards 12 scholarships totaling $48,000.00 per year.
